Weekend review.

Saturday was another day of family reunion fun. In the morning everyone went to the park, but since Keija didn't sleep so we didn't go. Michael had to work also so the thought of taking a 5 year old and a 1 months old to the park, in the heat, by myself, on an hour of sleep...yeah I think not!

Saturday night we went up to the church by my mom's house and had a Luau themed party. It was so fun to have everyone there again. My cousins and aunt from California even suprised us and came. They are so funny. I just think it's so funny how they finish each others thoughts. With out ever talking over each other. I tried to uplaod a video of them but no luck...I'll try again later.
Mom and the family did a great job with everything. We had a lot of fun. Here are some family pictures from the night. I didn't get a picture of the entire family, I'll have to steal one from my dad and post it later. This is really not a very good picture but here it is anyway. This is a picture of all my emmidiete cousins and there spouses and all of our kids. All that were there...we missed you Coombs in TN.After the evening events we went and saw Mama Mia again. I know, sad. But Bobbie and I convinced all the girls to go. We were definitley the loudest in the theater...but really when is the Coombs family not the loudest anywhere we go? I love seeing my family, I wish we all could get together more often. It kills me how alike we all are no matter how long we've gone with out seeing each other. When we were outside talking after the movie for some reason everyone was showing how they snap at the same time...well I made the comment that it was like West Side Story. So what does my family do?...we all break out into the fight scene snapping sequence. Who does that? Oh yes, that's right my family truely is a musical! We had a great weekend and I'm sad it's over and I have to go back to my real life. Love you all.

another pool and Mama Mia!!!

Today has been another great day to ad to our ever growing list of wonderful days. Kailye, Keija and I went to the pool again today. This time it was the scera. It was very hot and very crowded but we had fun anyway. Keija is so good at the pool she likes the water and even kicks her feet around.
That's Kk in there in the pink goggles and yellow swimsuit.
After the pool we got ready and headed over to the Coombs family reunion. We used to have them every 4 years but at the last one they changed them to every 2 years. I was excited to see everyone again. When we pulled into the parking lot at the church tonight

Michael said "wow, that's a lot of cars. Is there a lot of people here?." I just laughed. My family is pretty huge, and they weren't even all there. Once we were inside Michael made the comment that we all look alike. After looking around you could definitely tell who was a Coombs and who married into the family. It was funny.

After the evening activities Bobbie and I went and saw Mama Mia. It is officially my new favorite movie. We both LOVED it. It was a hilarious chick flick. I felt bad for all the poor suckers (husbands and boy friends) that got conned into going to see it. Bobbie and I were laughing so hard almost the whole movie. At one point Bobbie said she almost wet her pants. If you grew up listening to Abba you would definitely like the movie. Just don't put your significant other through it. you'll have more fun if it's all girls anyway. It is a park your brain, fun, movie.

Well I better get some sleep before the nugget wakes up again. Bye.

Fun in the sun

Today we went to Grandma Great's to swim and visit. It was a great day to sit and play in the sun. All of my nephews were there, and they were all so cute playing in the pool. Kailye loved it...she always loves the pool. She was so excited today because she is starting to learn to swim with out the life vest. She was so happy when she could swim from Bobbie to me and all over. Although if she got a little tired she'd yell "Bobbie catch me." It was funny. I'm just glad she is learning to swim. She also got a magazine at the store to look at...yeah it's an all Disney channel edition of People Magazine...how much is she like her mama? Today was the first time we took Keija swimming also. She was so sweet after she got used to the water. She wasn't in for very long though..it was very sunny.Today's project was to make my girl's tutu's for pictures on Sunday. I saw them at the mall but it was $40 for some mesh and elastic...are you kidding me:) So I bought stuff to make them myself for $6 dollars. So far they are so cute...I decided to make them for my nieces also so we can take a cute cousins picture this weekend. The advantages to having all girl cousins:) Kari is going to help me make all the head bands for them...yeah. I love little girl's stuff.Keija was a little fussy tonight and I was getting kk ready for bed so I didn't grab her binky. Well after a minute she stopped fussing. I looked down and this is what she found. She was very content with it for a few minutes.Natalie stopped by tonight on her way home so I could measure Aubri's waste for her tutu. Well Aubri is 5 weeks older than Keij and 2 pounds smaller. It's so funny. They are just too cute.Well that was our day...I'm going to bed.

Hair and more:)

I'm starting to feel so much more myself the past few days. I still have quite a bit of weight shifting to take care of, but I'm going to need to hit the gym for that. Anyway, Kailye and I have been having fun getting everything done around the house. We are in the process of refinishing Grandma and Grandpa Coombs old table.....Thank you for it by the way. We re-covered the seat cushions, and we are painting it. It's getting there but Michael needs to finish it, and he really doesn't have much time so I guess you'll have to wait for the finished product. I even colored my hair last night. I feel much more like me now. It's so stupid how your hair color can make you feel better. I was trying to take a cute picture of my hair and KK jumped in...nutty kid. After I got ready today I came out to find this. Kailye really loves her little sister. She can calm her down faster than anyone. It's the sweetest thing.

We went to the mall today and grabbed my little weed some new blue jeans. She loves shopping. I know, not great. But she's so cute to watch spin around in front of the mirrors.
She's such a cheese. One of Kailye's favorite things to do is take goofy pictures. Aren't we cute.
Keija was happy to see Michael home tonight. She's so cute when she just sits and stares at you. Well that post was really random and jumpy, but I'm tired so I really am not going to care. Bye.

Monday, monday...

It's been a long day today. Keija is still having stomach issues. So last night I got to stay up all night with her fussy, puking, butt. She was so miserable all night. Poor kid. The doctor is thinking she might just have a sensitive stomach but he is watching her pretty close to make sure. Well this morning Kailye and I went up to Salt Lake with Michael to "watch" Jayci, she was asleep the whole time, while Kari went to her meeting this morning. We left here at 6:30. Michael had 3 hours of sleep, Kailye had 5, Keija had 45 minutes, and I had 25 minutes. yeah probably not the smartest. But we survived the day. Actually Kailye and I got a lot done today. Because of Keija's pukiness we do at least a full load of laundry a day, and end up cleaning the couch or the swing or the car seat. We also got the old entertainment console out of the way and rearranged the new one. And put up my new curtains. I love it. It was so nice today to have a bright sunny room all day. This is not a very good picture because I already shut the curtains for the night. I'll take a better one tomorrow. This is our old entertainment center...it's headed out to our "storage unit"...oh wait that's supposed to be our garage:)

For the first time in months Kailye went to bed on time tonight. She fell asleep at exactly 8 pm...Woohoo. Now if I could get Keija to sleep at night instead of durring the day that would be wonderful. She is impossible to wake her up...seriously, I can't ever make her wake up. She wakes up when she wants.

Weekend

Saturday was a long day but we had a great time. We got up and got ready and then headed up to IKEA. I wanted to get a new entertainment console. I really love ours but with the way I have the front room arranged it blocks out most of our front window. Anyway, we got a cute white one that is only 18 inches high so it won't block the window...and I can see in my front yard. We found cute curtains while we were up there too...okay they are just Beige but they were 2 for $15, and it's hard to find curtains to cover my 98x52 window. I'm so excited to get it all up and put together...Michael is putting the console together right now...he's super excited about it too considering it's 12:30AM.
After Ikea and a few other furniture stores, we headed down to Leeana's to go get dinner. We went to Brick Oven. I really like that place except I would not recomend going on a Saturday night. There are SOO many ByU students. There was a balloon guy there that made Kk a cinderella. It was so cool to watch him put it together. After dinner we went and saw Journey To The Center Of The Earth. They are only showing it in 3D. It was so much better than I thought it would be. Kailye had so much fun watching it in 3D and Michael and I really loved watching her laugh at things flying off the screen at her.

Sunday after church Kailye and Michael headed back up to the lake to tow the boat back down to Dan's house. Kailye had so much fun with a few of Dan's friends kids on the boat. Keija and I stayed home this time. I'm not really into sitting by myself on the beach and I'm not taking any of my kids on a boat until they can wear a life jacket. We just slept mostly:) Well better get some sleep before Keija wakes up.

Friday

Today was a very chill day. Kailye and I got up at 10...yep...10. We sat around a bit and then while Kailye was burping Keija, she puked all over her. Kailye handled it well though. She mildly freaked out, but she didn't throw Keija off her lap...which I was a little nervous might happen. So we cleaned up the couch, Kailye, Keija, and the pillow...which was a 1 1/2 feet away...yeah she can shoot it. I put them in the tub and we did a little laundry. After such an eventful morning both the girls fell asleep. They were very cute sleeping on the couch together.

Michael told his dad he would haul his boat up to the lake for him tonight so before he did I had him come get all of us to go with him. Dan would do it but they are going to camp so he had the fifth wheel. We headed up there and had dinner with them and also let Kailye play for a while. It was a nice night to be with family.
