Weekend review.

Saturday was another day of family reunion fun. In the morning everyone went to the park, but since Keija didn't sleep so we didn't go. Michael had to work also so the thought of taking a 5 year old and a 1 months old to the park, in the heat, by myself, on an hour of sleep...yeah I think not!

Saturday night we went up to the church by my mom's house and had a Luau themed party. It was so fun to have everyone there again. My cousins and aunt from California even suprised us and came. They are so funny. I just think it's so funny how they finish each others thoughts. With out ever talking over each other. I tried to uplaod a video of them but no luck...I'll try again later.
Mom and the family did a great job with everything. We had a lot of fun. Here are some family pictures from the night. I didn't get a picture of the entire family, I'll have to steal one from my dad and post it later. This is really not a very good picture but here it is anyway. This is a picture of all my emmidiete cousins and there spouses and all of our kids. All that were there...we missed you Coombs in TN.After the evening events we went and saw Mama Mia again. I know, sad. But Bobbie and I convinced all the girls to go. We were definitley the loudest in the theater...but really when is the Coombs family not the loudest anywhere we go? I love seeing my family, I wish we all could get together more often. It kills me how alike we all are no matter how long we've gone with out seeing each other. When we were outside talking after the movie for some reason everyone was showing how they snap at the same time...well I made the comment that it was like West Side Story. So what does my family do?...we all break out into the fight scene snapping sequence. Who does that? Oh yes, that's right my family truely is a musical! We had a great weekend and I'm sad it's over and I have to go back to my real life. Love you all.

How fun- that is how I felt this past month being together with my Mom's family.
Sometimes I wish with all my cousins, we could all just be kids again and do it all over again. Good thing we still enjoy being together now, plus we have the spouses which I love.

Looks like you had a crazy day full of fun! The reunion looks like you had a blast! I love it when your family gets together too. It is so much fun to see how much you all love each other and I think the volume is just an added bonus. Although I think I would have loved to see you all dancing and singing to West Side Story!

I have to say I'm envious of your closeness with your family. I really only have a handful of cousins that I'm close to. I bet it's a wonderful feeling to know you'll be spending eternity with all of them!
