Hello...

Well it has been such a long time since I last blogged. I know you have all missed me soooo much. Anyway I have been quite busy lately...okay not so much busy as not inside much...it has been such beautiful weather lately I haven't wanted to stay inside. Kailye and I have been planting flowers, weeding and cleaning up around mom's yard. We have also been on countless walks "up the mountain" behind our house. We have found several new trails and seen LOTS of animal foot prints. Kailye always gets very excited when she sees "the really, really, really big doggy" foot prints...I think it may be a mountain lion or cougar. (note to self no hiking at dusk or after dark)

Michael and Kailye and I went on a drive yesterday when I was a slacker and didn't go to work. We drove for about two hours in the foothills behind the house but only managed to go six miles. I love four wheeling, except when michael decides he wants to take the 4-runner up a path he says is "barely steeper than the road we live on"...Kailye and I got out to walk up...I figured if he rolled the car someone would need to call 911. Let me tell you, that road was ALOT steeper than the one we live on. Our street is a 13% grade I think this one was about 50%. I'm not exagerating. Kailye crawled up on her hands and feet. I wish I would have taken my camera. (I always forget it.) I'm sure we'll drive up there again soon I'll take a picture so you all can see. After that I took Michael over to where our dog is burried. I could tell where it was because my dad always puts the Elk bones from the hunt on the grave for Dutchy. He loves bones, he was killed chewing on one...pause...sigh...ahhh...sorry such a touching moment.

Well I better get back to work, I still have to be here another hour...did I mention I was a slacker yesterday...I'm paying for it today.

Random Stuff...and dogs..

Hello everyone...I feel a little out touch with everyone. Since I have been sick I haven't really done much of anything. Including looking at blogs or righting them. So I have been doing the Self.com challenge and wondering why I can't find any of my "buddies"....Bobbie, Katy, mom, steph, and kiki....well I got on again today and stummbled across another "self.com-goal" page and realized that is where my buddies are. Yea...I'm a little retarded. But so far so good...I have been working out and eating health. It's amazing how much you notice what you are eating and ho much you are moving hen you have to write it all down. I figured I need to lose 45 pound to get back into the jeans I wore before I got pregnant. Ha Ha Ha....that's so funny...!

So we watched Bobbies dogs last week while they were in Guatemala...after some begging and some buddy passes...anyway, I like the dogs, when you actually watch them and train them not to jump up on the couch they are good. They did have one accident...if you have a weak stomach look away. So we woke up the first morning, a little late..okay it was like ten.., and came up stairs and kailye went into the family room to turn on the TV...well...a few seconds later she was screaming at the top of her lungs. "aaaaahhhhh!" So Michael and I run over there to see what was hurting her...you guessed it, she had stepped directly on to the dog poop...and it stuck to her foot. I ran Kailye to the bathroom and Michael took care of the rest...I think I got the better end of that deal ;) All in all though they were very good after that.

I don't really have much else to say today..peace out all.

Rugby & the park.

Michael, Kailye, and I all went to the park today. It is the first time I have been outside in about a week. I have had the flu mixed with constant Migrains. Anyway, it was nice. It was such a gorgeous day at about 55 degrees and all sunshine. Kailye and I were in shorts. Well Michael wasn't there all that much because he actually just went to play rugby.

He is playing on a mens team now. They are based in Provo which is nicer than the hour drive to and hour drive from the U of U. It is the team he grew up around and he gets to play with all of his friends from when he was growing up. They have their first game on Saturday against the other mens team that wanted him to play for them. They are the team with most of his old team mates on it. He seems to be enjoying the mens team more than I thought he might.

Well I better go I have a lot I need to get done.

To my dear Kik...

So you may have all met my sis-in-law Kari. I have decided we are soul mates....yes that's right soul mates. Our journey started just 3 1/2 short years ago, and it has been quite an adventurous one. We have been on two 12 hour drives to and from the bay area with a two and then three year old and a mother-in-law. Which we both love. We've been on countless camping trips with the Griffee clan and on a few boating weekends. you could have heard either of us at some point in the planning of said trips say "I'll go if Kik/Trish goes" or "Is kik/Trish going?" We also would probably tell you that when it comes to our "friends" since we've been married the other one probably tops the list.(excluding our actually sisters..and Steph my adopted sister who actually probably ties with kik)

It all started when she moved to Provo for a summer and met this guy I still hadn't met at the time, even though Michael and I had been seeing each other for almost a year, his name is Adam. And just three short months later Michael said "I think my brother is going to ask that one girl to marry him." Thus our story begins. you see Kari and I are, at times, the same person. We both are not so shy about telling you exactly how we feel about something. yes at times this probably is not the best but you see Kari and I are not that big on lying either. Even if it is about the shirt you just bought, hopefully you can return it, or hopefully you are strong enough to ignore what we think and wear it anyway. This may be why we are excellent shopping buddies, if we can convince Michael to take Kailye.

We are also both fairly hilarious beings. We always seem to crack each other up anyway. Other people are usually laughing too, thus the conclusion that we may be funny. We always seem to have quite a good time together and we can always find something to talk about for an hour while we are supposed to be working. We have pretty much the same taste in clothing and we both like the color Green. We both like the same furniture....we both just like furniture. She is also always willing to take hilarious pictures with me with every statue on every vacation we go on.

There is oh so much more that I believe makes Kari and I soul mates but oh so little time to tell you all. So to make a short story long...I love this girl!

Okay so I'm on a mac at work and it will not let me leave comments on anyone's Blog..but..I totally agree with Will in every aspect. It's so great to be able to keep in touch with everyone. I love getting messages and comments...I probably should lay off a little while I'm at work but I'm working at the same time :)

I have not stayed in such close contact with my cousins, my aunts, and even my own siblings until this last week...and most of you live within 30 miles of me. I love blogging. It is such a great way to keep a family journal. I am not good at writing one because I can type faster than I can write. But I find myself wanting to print all of your blogs as well so I can have a huge family scrapbook. We need to get the rest of our family on this thing. I LOVE IT!!!!

I also agree with having extended family around when it comes to marriages. Maybe not as close as Michael and I but you know....we actually really appreciate living at mom and dad's. They have been very generous to let us do so for so long while Michael is in school. Hopefully this summer you can all come visit us in our house, apartment, condo...I don't know?..you can tell I'm right on top of it can't you. Someday. Well like I said I'm at work..I should go. I am so bad at this whole blog thing....I was just writing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERESA & RACHEL....early" and I posted it then went to look at the post and realized it was posted on Bobbie's old blogspot account. Yea I'm on her computer...I'm retarded. I'm just getting better and better at this. Oh and on the email about the temple...I meant to say to those of you who can make it, not how can make it. well anyway "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERESA & RACHEL....early".
