Dance And stuff...

Kailye started dance yesterday. She had a great time and said "the splits were just exhausting." She is very excited to go again next week. My mom made her some more dance shorts so I'll have to take a picture and post it next time.

Kail
ye also went to her grandma's today after school. She has missed being able to go hang out with grandma. Although she wasn't too thrilled to not have Keija with her too. She learned how to do the monkey bars herself today ! She was soooo excited and said she wished her dad was there to see how good she did by herself. Since Kailye was with Leeana today I got to go to the temple with mom this morning. Thank you Bobbie for watching Keija while she slept:) When I came back I was so excited to get to be practice for Bobbie for her massage therapy! Oh it was so great!!! Thank you Bobbie..I will be home work anytime you need!!! Well that is really all we have been up to. Sorry nothing exciting.

Say hello to my little friend!

This is what I found in our bathroom...yes my friends that is a large yucky spider. But alas not just any spider but the feared Hobo spider. These things are nasty. If they bite you they leave massive open wounds with in just 48 hours of the bite. Luckily we have only found 2 and they have both been in the bathroom, after we have left the window open. We read up on them and decided not to spray for them because it can make the infestation much worse if you kill off all their natural enemies. So from now on we will keep the windows closed!
Friday night I went to Rachael's baby shower. She is not finding out what she is having until the birth so it was fun to see what people thought of to give her. Kailye was sad that I left her home with a babysitter but she said they had fun.
Saturday was the home opener for UTAH FOOTBALL!!!
We were very excited. I even made red and white hair bows for my girls!
Kailye is not like most kids who just come and sit and watch the game. She cheers and has learned, in the past 2 years, quite a bit about football. She usually can tell you what is going on in the game. you can bet Michael is in heaven about that!

Mmmm....yummy!
I want some of that!
We have taken this picture for the past 4 years except last year...
I couldn't find 2006 pic. One of the first attempts at this year's picture...evil little girl!
Second attempt was much better!UTAH won!!!
These are just 2 cute pics I took on the way up while I was trying to remember how to use the old camera! I miss our little one but this one still takes great pictures.

Sunday was Aubri Jean's baby blessing. It was so beautiful and she looked adorable. Just to let all of you know who I may have forgotten to tell already, Keija's baby blessing is on Sunday. Email me or Michael if you need directions.

uh...nothing clever is coming to me :P

Today was a some what long day that still isn't over?! Keija-my natural alarm clock-slept later than usually, so I was rushing to get Kailye showered, clothed, fed, and off to school on-time. She ran in right as her class was headed in side. Keija and I ran errands..lots of errands...and then got Kk from school. After that we ran MORE errands...and then some more errands...I did find a great sweater for the Griffee family pictures in a few weeks(THANK yOU!! Art for letting us over abuse your AWESOME discount) Then sat at the social security office 4-EVER-ER! (I'm a huge slacker who has been married 4 1/2 years and still hadn't changed my social security card:) After all that we headed to Costco for the monthy grocery shopping..yes people we only go grocery shopping once a month. While there we asked about our injured member of the family who has been sorely missed...the camera! I have to send it in to Cannon and see if they can fix it:( I really liked Costco better when you could take any electronic back with in 2 years no questions asked. Oh well I hope it's an easy fix. If not I'm thinking we will get an SRL(?) style camera, considering this is the second one we have broken the mechanics that control the lens opening and shutting.

We headed home just in time to clean the kitchen, do the dishes, do some laundry, feed an ever hungry 2 month old, learn that I had a hidden bag of broccoli in the back of the freezer that was now very smelly:(, and teach Kk how to make cheese ravioli with Sausage and marinara sauce....mmmmmm!!! I would starve if it weren't for pasta! It went wonderfully with the zuccini bread my visiting teacher brought over. Then it was off to Michael's cousin's son's football game at the park...so cold, we were all actually in sweaters. I really was kind of excited to be able to put Keija in the super cute little Roxy sweater I got her today...again THANKS Art! I learned tonight how amazing my little stinker is. Kailye and her 'cousin' were playing with a little girl who then got her feelings hurt. Kailye, completely on her own with absolutely NO promptings from mama, went over to the little girl to ask her to come back and play again. She is the nicest kid ever. She has always wanted to be friends with everyone regardless of whether or not they were nice to her. Well now I am just waiting for the passport applications to print out so we can take care of that tomorrow and then it's off to bed. My 3 "kids" have been asleep for hours:) I'll try to remember to take picture's with my phone tomorrow so my post has a little Syrup!

Picture over load!

All in RED in honor of Utah's win over Michigan today!!
ThE MaNy FAcEs oF My FAmILy!
(We were bored waiting for dinner.)
Okay she wasn't bored..she was out like a light!
Don't you feel like a Lion is crouching in the brush?
We went to BeAR LaKe this weekend to go boating with Michael's family. These are sadly the last few pictures from our camera before it died completely. I really hope it's still under warranty.
My VERy smiley 2 month old! She is always the most happy when she is in or near the water. I thought it was all in my head but this weekend proved it. She would be screaming her head off but as soon as she spotted the water she was happy as could be!

"Okay what are you doing lady? Get that stinkin' camera out of my face!"
If you look closely at this picture you can see that Kailye is crying! She didn't want to go out, but once we were out she wanted to go faster than the wave runner would go:) Silly girl! I'm sad I didn't to many pictures of Marley but she had a ton of fun. Although every time we went out on the boat or wave runners she tried to follow. She loves us!
Cute little Jayci.

This section of the blog is titled "i tOLd yOu So!" Michael got the pathfinder stuck in the sand. I tried to tell him it was too heavy but alas he had to learn the hard way...a very nice ranger came along and pulled us out:)
Kailye was playing in the sand waiting for the car to be "unstucked"

This section , per Adam's request, is titled MiCHaeL iS aWEsoMe! What you are looking at, even though you can barely see it, is a Dodge Diesel Cummins Mega-crew cab sunk up to it's axles in the sand!! SO michael pulled it in to pull out the wave runners and it sat too long and sunk a bit, then Dan thought he could just get it out and instead sunk it another 6 inches. Don't worry a very nice ranger came along to spend an hour of his time jacking up the front of the truck so they could get rocks under the tires to get it out. Oh well it's not a Griffee vacation unless something goes wrong:)These picture are from Michael's phone so they are not the best but they are the only one's I have from today:(

And last but not least...On the way up to the lake Kailye kept watching the music video from Enchanted over and over...she had head phones on and couldn't hear herself singing and this is the result!! She's such an adorable kiddo!!! (normally she has pretty perfect pitch)

Pictures Anyone?

Keija had here two month appointment yesterday. Poor kid had to have 3 shots..oh man she didn't like that! The doctor checked her out and she is off the charts for her height and in the 80% on her weight. I figured she was a big kid. 3 people in the office asked if we were there for her 4 month appointment:)

Keija is 5 weeks younger than Aubri and about 3 inches taller! She apparently thought something was funny!

We went to the pool for the last time today. We met a friend of mine from High school and her cute kiddo's there. I hope she doesn't kill me for this picture, I just think it's so cute that her little Payson is playing footsies with Keija.

Not the cutest picture ...they had lots of fun.
And I finally got the pictures from our Timp hike...okay I got them yesterday but I wasn't in the mood for blogging. She was sooo tired:)

Our group in the caves!
The famous Michael and Kailye pose. Every picture I have of the two of them looks pretty much exactly like this.

Fires & Grandma's..uh not together:)

I've had a pretty draining day today so this is going to be short. Sorry. yesterday after Kailye went to school we headed up to Kari's so Natalie could help me do Keija's birth announcement's. They are really cute...thanks Nat! But on the way up we saw a pretty big fire. It made the whole valley stink. This is just a Kailye face. One of many!
Today we went up to mom & dad's and Kailye played with all the kids. They were having a tea party. I also took Keija to the doctor and she's sad now. She had to have 3 shots today and is not a happy camper tonight. She was off the charts on her height and in the 80% on her weight. She's a big kid.

Weekend

We had a great weekend. I can't remember what we did on Friday...yeah, I know. Sad...but Saturday we hiked up to Timp Caves. Okay now I know I am out of shape(I just had a baby) but I didn't realize how out of shape. I feel like I could have DIED!!! Old men weighing close to 300 lbs. passed us! It was so sad. But I did make it all the way up the 1.5 mile, 1100 ft. incline! I am so proud of myself:) It really was sad. I couldn't hardly move yesterday and if I sit too long today it takes me a minute to get up. I was going to start going to the gym today but I'm thinking it's going to have to wait for tomorrow:) We got lots of cute pictures but they are all on Nat's camera so I'll post them later.

The other big news of the day...KAILyE STARTED SCHOOL!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!! My house is really quiet right now:( But I am so excited to have a few hours a day just me and Keija. And Kailye was so excited to go to school. She got up at 6:30 this morning and she just had to have her hair curled:) So we got her all ready. We got Keij in the stroller and walked to school, it's only 2 blocks away. As soon as we got there I walked Kailye to her class and she walked right in and turned around and said, "bye mom!! See you after school!" While other kids were crying and other mom's were crying me and my little one parted with no trouble at all. Is that weird?...oh well I don't care if it was she was really happy!

Well I better go I only have a few hours to run errands before I have to go get Kk from school. Bye.
