California...

I'm a bit sad today. I was supposed to go to California for my cousin's graduations tomorrow but I ended up not doing it. I'm a little sad because my family is there until saturday. I really love northern California. If it weren't so expensive I would live there. It's just beautiful. I am going to have to take a trip out later this summer so I can see everyone. And Michael has never been to my Aunt's house because everytime we go out is for rugby and he stays with the team. Well I hope everyone has a good time...Bye.

P.S. Congratulations Racheal & Teresa!!!

Oceans & oceans...

We went and saw Oceans 13 last night. I thought it was very good. I did see a lot of things coming but it was still a good movie. I'll be excited if they come out with another one. Although they are all looking a bit old. Especially Brad Pitt....must be all those kids.

We went with Michael's family. His Uncle David was visiting from Tennessee. He retired from the army a month a ago and has already been out here twice. We love it because he is great. He's so fun to talk to. He's been all over the world so he has so many stories. And he LOVES the boys so he give them all kinds of great advice. He's like the dad they didn't have.

Well that's all for now...bye.

Cleaning.... :(

Okay so yesterday we went to church and the lesson we had in Relief Society was inspiring to me. It was about preparing for the hard times. Michael and I have been blessed to realize this is important. It has definitely come in handy, especially due to recent events. Well we also discussed our homes and how we need to not only plant our gardens but also keep our homes in order. If for nothing else than to keep you happy.

So....I came home from church and looked around. Now let me tell you...I haven't cleaned up much since Steph and the boys left. Okay it's not that I haven't "cleaned up" it's that I haven't cleaned. It all looks so overwhelming because every room needs to be gone through cleaned out and reorganized. UGGG!

Well yesterday we started with KK's. Now I'm sure most of you are thinking..."that shouldn't be too hard." "she's a little kid, how messy could it be?"...well let me tell you what we took OUT of Kailye's room. 2 garbage bags full of trash, 2 tubs full of clothing that is too small for her, 3 garbage bags full of DI items, 4 full size quilts, a ton of stuffed animals....wow I could make a Christmas song, the 12 bags of Crap from KK's room. Now If you have not seen Kailye's room it is about 10x10 feet big...if that. now that is all the stuff we pulled out. Everything we kept in...oh dear...so her whole closet is so full she doesn't even have any hangers left. She has more jackets than any 4 year old really needs...or any adult for that matter. They come in every style and color. She has a full size bed that has shelves at the head of it, which are stuffed full of teddy bears, bunnies, dolls, books and a CD player. You know all the stuff she couldn't part with. She is very good at getting rid of toys she doesn't play with but stuffed animals are a whole other story. Plus there are two hidden storage compartments in the head and they are full of Barbie stuff....It's ridiculous.

We did have fun watching from inside the window as daddy killed the Black Widow right outside the window....Fun huh? Well it took us all day to do just KK's room. 1 down only 5 to go...if you include the storage room I'm going to have to clean out. It does feel good to have hers done. And Michael straightened our room last night also so that one shouldn't be too hard. Well back to work...be happy.

Ouchy....

Okay so I went to a dance class last night. Ouch....I hurt everywhere. I forgot how much of a total body work out dancing is. I hurt in muscles I forgot I had. It was just a beginning class. I figured since I haven't danced in 5+ years I better start there. I can tell you it was much easier to move like that 40lbs. ago. It was fun though. I knew, by far, more than anyone in there :) Well back to work I go....bye.

HI.....

Hello all...not much to talk about today. I always say that then it end up being two pages worth long. Anyway, I came to work today. It kind of sucks. I also decided that for now I need to stay full time. I'm so glad that I have people who can watch KK because that is my biggest stress with working. She gets to play with Baby Jason twice a week and with one of her friends once a week and then at grandma Leeana's the other two days.

Michael has decided for sure to do real estate first off. His dad is working on a deal with a contractor that would let Michael and his brother sell his subdivisions. It would be a very good thing for them. From what I understand they are writing up a contract today. That would also give him time to do his own deals on the side. Anyone who needs an agent I happen to know a HIGHLY motivated one.....=)

Well thats all for now...Peace.

P.S. I am going to a dance class tonight...after 5 years of not dancing....this should be hilarious!!!

Family

So a lot has happened over the past few days but it really is too much to blog about right now. I'll just summarize. Last Saturday we went to breakfast at Magelby's Fresh...which we all love...Steph wanted to go one last time before she left so Bobbie, Steph, the boys, and Kk and I all went. We then went over to Grandma Gordon's house and went swimming at her pool. It was fun to take all the kids over. It was also the last chance grandma would get to see Parks and Bright before they leave so she enjoyed it.

Monday Art and Steph and the boys were sealed. We went to lunch with them afterward. It was very nice to sit down and talk with my Grandparents were able to come in from Peru to have Grandpa do the sealing. Everyone came back over to our house after and we all sat around and talked and played.

Tuesday was a little chaotic with Steph and Art trying to get everything done before they had to leave but it was nice to be with them. I am going to miss them so much and also the boys. Kk has loved having someone to play with everyday. And I have also LOVED having someone to play with. Here are all the things I am going to miss the most...."penu-buder an jelly", "hot chocolate milk", someone to hang out with, late nights watching Scrubs with Michael, me and Steph, swimming, someone to talk to, fights to break up between a 1 2 and 3 year old, playing soccer in the back yard with uncle Michael, running to the store while Michael stays home with the kids, someone to complain about everything to and with, more people to cook for, someone else to cook, all the toys out Everywhere, Mulan, all the kids laughing and smiling, lots of sippy cups, 5 loads of dishes a day, and then washing them all by hand afterward, having all the kids go to bed at the same time made it easier to get my one kid to bed, Parks in Kk's princess shoes, Bright trying to figure out how to put them on like his "buba", buying a bunch of bananas everyday, and a gallon of milk, my family. It was so nice to have Steph and the boys stay with us before they left. I cried all day today every time I would look around and something would remind me they weren't here. Steph and I used to be very close and it was nice to get that back. I'm sad to see one of my best friends move but I am also so excited for them.

I'm sad for KK to lose her best friends too but I 'm so happy that she will get to go play with baby Jason twice a week, I have a feeling she's going to need it. She already asked today why we couldn't just go to Mexico right now. It is such a blessing to have family so close. I really appreciate everything they do for us.

Well I better go to bed...love you all...good night.

Seven Peaks and the kids.

Steph and I went to seven peaks yesterday. It was very fun. We mostly sat around while the kids played in the children's pool, but it was nice to just sit and let them play without having the destroy anything. I'm kind of sad I forgot my camera but oh well.

We didn't sit there the whole time we actually did go down one of the small slides. Parks went down all by himself and made a nice recovery after tipping over at the bottom. Then Steph and Parks went down. Next was mine and Kk's turn. Okay I didn't see Steph get out at the bottom but it was a very short slide so I figure we probably wouldn't get that wet. Boy was I wrong! When you add the weight of an adult to the 30 foot slide its like a little torpedo. We both got DRENCHED! We both came out laughing pretty hard. The water at the bottom of the slide came up completely over our heads. It was fun though.

After that we went and walked around the lazy river. now let me paint you a picture. The lazy river is a quarter of a mile long. Granted it does have a fairly strong current. But it is also only 3 1/2 feet deep. Now if you walk around it while you are standing up it gets cold because half of your wet body is out of the water, so you basically have to squat all the way around. This was fine for a minute but by the time we were half way around both of our thighs were burning. I know Steph had to be hurting because I was dying and I was only carrying 45lbs. She had closer to 70lbs. with both of her boys. Plus she is shorter than me so she couldn't sit into it as much as I could. Well needless to say after two laps around the so called "lazy river" we got out. Today I am walking pretty stupid.

On the way home we stopped at a fabric store. After wearing my new swim suit yesterday, and feeling so comfortable all day in it, we decided to get some Lycra and see if mom would make us each a few more. We found a bunch on sale and decided what we wanted and the lady cut it. Then we decided we were going to need some elastic so I called mom. Now this was the first mom had heard she would be making us swimsuits...she laughed and said she be happy to make 7 swimsuits before Steph leaves on Wednesday. Did I mention mom has been in Park City all week and is going to St. George for the weekend and will not be back until Sunday afternoon. I'm glad she knows how to sew well. Thanks MOM!!!!

Well I always mean to make these short and somehow they ramble on...familiar I know....Peace.
