A whole new world.

Well we have been home for two days now. Everything has gone pretty well so far.

Kailye is loving having a little sister and wants to hold her any chance she can. I think me having to work for most all of Kailye's toddler years had made this transition fairly easy so far. She has never really been a clingy needed child so she has been just fine with all the attention Keija has needed. I'm glad she is handling everything so well. Besides that she is very happy to help with everything.

Keija so far has been a very good eater and sleeps 4-6 hours at a time. She has been great. She is a little jaundice so we took her for a walk to the park yesterday. She's not a fussy baby and is just content. If I only I could sleep this would be great. I have been having trouble sleeping at night. It feels like my heart is throbbing when I try to go to sleep which makes it hard to breath and gives me a head ache. The doctor says it probably just my body adjusting..I hope so. I think it might also be the added weight to my chest..I know TMI. Michael goes back to work tomorrow so I'm hoping I can sleep tonight.

Michael has been so great with Kailye and Keija. He has been very helpful when I need to sleep to take care of Kailye. I think he will be sad to go back to work tomorrow but someone has to pay for these kids.

It must be a whole new world, taking care of Keija in a quiet house, all to yourself. I think I would have missed all the company.

okay, of course they are both beautiful girls! We need to hear more about the birth... I'll look on your preggo blog.
Stupid question though, and if you want to just email please do... how did you get the color on the B&W? Does your camera do it? My little one does, but not my big one- and I'm trying to figure out how to do it in Photoshop. KNow how?
